Why choose Clinch Boots?

Clinch Boots are designed for an Australian foot shape: Generally, football boot brands design there boots based upon a European last. This often causes issues for players in Australia, as western society usually have quite broad feet.  Therefore, I have adjusted the shape of the boot to accommodate for a wider foot shape.

Clinch Boots are made from the highest grade of Kangaroo leather. As AFL uses a full kangaroo leather ball, it makes sense for the boots to match & allow for smooth contact on the ball. There is minimal stitching on the upper to ensure a smooth touch when kicking the ball.

Clinch Boots are more supportive than any other boot in the market: Clinch Boots have a number of differentiating features which provide significant support to the foot & lower leg. These include:

A 7mm raise in the heel & a 2mm raise in the forefoot. This will reduce strain on the gastroc/soleus complex.

A unique stud configuration which allows for efficient landing & change in direction. The stud configuration has been developed with the support of a number of  different research papers which assessed the number of optimum studs for bio mechanical efficiency.

A podiatry designed arched insole. This aims to aid in improving mechanics & assist in keeping the foot in the most bio-mechanically efficient position

A firm TPU outersole which limits torsional flexibility & provides a stable platform for the foot to move from

A firm heel counter which provides a stable capsule for the rear foot to sit in
